I didn't vote because I like both. A lot of the original HM stuff is in HMH so it still has the classic HM feel.

It's cool to have HMH for a short period each yeah, but the original is far better. HM is up there with Pirates as an example of vintage Disney theme park attractions at their best. That is, before there had to be a movie tie-in or a thrill element and they just took a good concept and created something unique that became a Disney trademark in its own right.

HMH is cool, but I'm not sure it would ever become a classic in the way HM now is.

Ive read that Tim Burton will allow only one more HMH because: he doesnt want the HMH characters to become tiresome, after all he was going to allow HMH to be a one time thing

All I'm saying is, that same rumor has been printed every year since 2002. Like clockwork, an internet author or poster says that they heard from so-and-so's grandmother's florist's second cousin who works for TDA that HMH won't be back the following year. And yet, it's still here. I'll believe it when I see the press release. HMH makes Disneyland a butt-load of money. They're not going to let it go without a fight.

All I see in shops at DLR is Nightmare merchandise. If they drop HMH, they will have no point in carrying it and would lose all of those sales.

I'm sure they will be tipping Burton off to keep it going.

Right... 2 years ago, facilities didn't have the bandwidth to install it... We got teh Oogie upgrades.

Last year budget cuts were doing it in. Sure, no new upgrades like prior years, but we still got HMH.

This year, they didn't want HM down for 2 months during the 50th...And, they wanted everything Walt touched to be original... Etc... But we still got HMH.

Next Sept, if HMH doesn't go down for installation, then I'll believe we're not getting HMH next year.

I don't understand why everyone keeps saying "I love HMH, but I wouldn't want it to be permanent" when obviously it will never be permanent. It wouldn't make sense to have a ride that features Halloween and Christmas going year round. Besides, it was designed to be a seasonal overlay.

I like both. I love HMH though and it warrants a special fall trip to go see.
