I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

11-28-2005 08:19 PM #62I just recently noticed that, too. Looking at an old picture, though, I think it's always been that way.

The "mural" into the building with the sparkles (Once Upon a Time... and Happily Ever after...) are still there. The sketch murals are completely gone. I kinda like the solid blue. It's dark and bold and makes the bright posters even more noticeable. The lights on the cieling continue until the Happily Ever After Mural begins.

Hello everyone.
My trip to Disneyland was FANTASMIC !!!
Visited Sept 15 to Sept 20 and came back to CT on 9/21/05
The monsters inc ride was not ready and I missed the HMH, Also the CA screamin coaster was closed because of the accident, but everything else was up and running. The old facade was on the animation building when I was there and the new one looks cool. I think the drawn to animation was closed now that I think of it. Turtle talk ROCKS!! CHA!!!!
Try to talk again soon. Bye

Don't know if this was brought up before but... Has this improvement proven successful in terms of attraction attendance so far?

Don't know - Crush has been full every time I've seen the show (4 or 5 times I guess), but I have done Animation Academy twice now and both times the theater has only used the center of the front 2 rows (out of 7 or 8 rows or so). Both times it has been very empty.

I went yesterday, from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Turtle Talk at 4:30 was only about 2/3 full. I was very disappointed that they now allow adults to sit on the floor up front. Just great for a 6 ft. guy to be sitting in front of my 3 1/2 ft. 4 year old daughter.
Say Mickey, Cindy, Mallard and Chicken Little for photos, less than a 10 minute wait. I do like it that one line gets you 3 characters. Poor Mallard wasn't getting any visitors.
Soaring at 7:20 still had a 40 minute line. TOT at 6:30 only a 10 minute line, but then again Aladdin had just started.
Pretty good crowd for the Electrical parade.
Daughters favorite ride is now Mulhulland Madness. She wanted to ride it with everyone in our party(no such luck, it was just her and I).

It's hard to tell. It's impossible to get an accurate view of attendance from the "when I was there is was/wasn't crowded" statements. I certainly hope it's drawing more people in. It's one of the hidden gems in the whole resort.

Is it just my bad memory or has there always been glass panels in the inside walkway? I know they removed the murals in the front and painted them a solid blue but wasn't there more murals on the wall in the left side entry walkway? I just saw a picture and the inside walkway also has the same glass paneling the outside exterior has.
