The last rumor I heard was that Rockit Mountain will preview during Gradnite and open to the general public shortly after.

Yea, now I'm even more excited about Grad Nite...

On the Grad Nite video, all the affects look pretty elaborate. I wonder how Rockit Mt. will really be?

Do we know what the soundtrack will be?

That clip is just like the commercial for Space that they ran on TV. It's made up of Mission Space clips, and clips from DLP Space Mountain, I believe.

The clip/TV commercial also uses parts of Cyber Space Mountain from Disney Quest at WDW. I believe that is where a lot of the "space" and "martain" type terrain comes from in these clips. When they show a roller coaster track that does wild turns and thru astriods is looks exactly like riding Cyber Space Mountain.

I've heard blurbs that Hong Kong's Space is a better version than our Space Mountain, but with RockIt Mountain opening this year, it might be enough to do in the Hong Kong version.

Does anyone know exactly what the effects are going to be for RockIt Mountain? There are apparently lighting rigs (?) inside the mountain already, but are they really going to be used for RockIt or are they already used for Space? A while ago it was mentioned that it might be something along the lines of DLP's Rock 'N Rollercoaster, but then they probably would've used the RnRC promo footage for the Grad Nite video....so who knows!!! O.o
