POC problems?

me and my family jsut got back from a 3 day park hopper trip to DLR but while we were there they had some problem with pirates on the 29th.
We were eating at the blue bayou right by the water and had noticed no boats going by. A little later annoucements were being made over the intercoms to cast members to come down to the boarding place because of a problem and then something about high water levels? we left about an hour later when they had starting test running empty boats and the attraction was still clsoed to the public. anyone have the scoop on what happened?

I think they have alot of trouble with POC. Last time i went on it right before the hill going back up it broke down and we were stuck there for and hour.

Very good question, I haven't heard if there was any out of the ordinary issues but I will certainly ask tomorrow. One of the reasons why POTC goes down is because too many boats in the ride and being backed up way into the attraction. Jennifer and I were on POTC not long ago and the boats were backed up all the way to the Pirate Ship show scene, by the time we got to the horseshoe (back up the waterfall). It was over 30 mins! They closed the line to guests just to get the boats cycling through the attraction.
