Today's Experience with... Suits

Ah, you fell for the old "Lets dress up in suits and tease the Disney fan" ploy. There is a nortorious Anaheim gang called "The Suits" who go around pretending they are Disney Executives, terrorizing neighbors by making them think they are going to expand the park into different areas to shake them up. It is an especially evil group of neer-do-wells, and you are lucky to escape with your... well... you were lucky to escape.

That was a close shave indeed. They even talked about... the pole! OMG!

Well heres the story:

I was just leaving DL at around 4:00, when I decided to go the the 5th floor of the parking structure (where I was parked) and look into DL's back-lot at what was going on.

So I had my face buried in my camera taking pictures when I heard people coming. Thinking nothing of it, I keep taking pictures. Then I hear murmurs of "is he really doing that?", "hes taking pictures of back-lot", all of which seemed to come with some presence of disgust and a a pinch of smite.

So I raise my head to look, and lo and behold 10 suits watching me. Immediately I am embarrassed and nervous as to what they may say/do. So instead of making it obvious and acting like a idiot, I take my time packing up instead of running away for my life (aka getting my pass taken away).

So they form a circle behind me and start pointing at things and talking. I overheard "well why cant we just add on there...", "take the pole and extend it to here...". And a few other things I couldn't make sense of. Then someone seemed to realize I was listening in, and he informed the rest of the suites to head upstairs and talk there instead.

So basically they are talking about doing some type of construction somewhere around the parking structure. Now that I think about it, they may be talking about a DD parking structure. who knows?

hmmm sounds like possible DTD expansion.Thats pertty interesting new Screamin! thanks for the heads up.

Ok, seriously, it has been reported for some time that DTD will expand toward the present parking area behind RainForest Cafe, so they will need to come up with replacement parking fot those spaces, plus more. It does make organizational sense to put another structure adjacent to the existing Mickey and Friends behemoth, Though for my money, I hate parking structures, and it will once again take away some of the charm of being able to park in the open air.

It would be funny if all of us dressed up, went to the DLR, and bought those 6 dollar "make-it-yourself" name tags and put them on. We would then walk around the parks, and point at things. There would be 10,000 pictures posted online within minutes.

Ok heres the deal you spin try to take their photo and use the flash right in their face blinding them, kick one (make sure its a guy) in the nether region, ask the 2nd one to pick two fingers and eye gouge him then up into the crane kick position to take the 3rd one out....when they all on the floor you look up pretend to blow smoke off ya camera lense and "yipee kai a (fill in the blank)"

I call it the Karate kid, three stooges and John Mcclaine combo!

I was also there yesterday, i parked in Daisy (level 2, i think) around 7and while i was walking to the tram, i noticed that there were some suits in a tight huddle at the bottom of the escalator near the bathrooms, i sort of blew it off.....
