Since many attractions close over time and are usually replaced with new ones, which current attractions at Disneyland and California Adventure should never be closed down or replaced? Which attraction should be listed as a "historical" attraction and can never be touched by a CEO or President of the park?
*Please note that I want this to be the current attractions operating in the resort and not a spree of how the Country Bears should come back and Death to Pooh Bear or the People Mover should come back. I'd like to know which currently operating attractions should never close; not a shouldn't have closed thread.

I know some will kill me for this... but others will agree... I feel that the Tiki Room should be preserved... Being the whole... animatronic... figure... thingy... thing. Plus wasn't it Walts favorite?

Well, I am very glad you asked this question, because I just want to say that they should never ever, under any circumstances, take out those flying saucers. I think...
(shh, honey, I am trying to finish a post here on MouseInfo)....
As I was saying, I think those Flying Saucers are just about the most creative thing those Imagineers have ever...
(WHAT? Jeez! Let me fin.....
What?
Are you sure...?
When...?
Really?..... Oh. Wow...)
Umm. Nevermind.

since they are already screwing with POTC, it doesnt get any more sacared than that, so if they will add a 2003 figure to POTC nothing is out of the realm of possibility...

I personally think all attractions that were here since opening day should remain. Not that they should stay for nostalgia but because they are also very good attractions as well, ie: Mr. Toad, Snow White, Mark Twain etc.

The parking lot tram! Otherwise, we couldn't get to the park!
Seriously...
DL...Pirates, Mansion, Matterhorn, Space Mnt., Splash. But above all, I think that Sleeping Beauty's castle should NEVER be altered drastically. Sure, it's the smallest, but it has become such an icon for the entire company, second only to Mickey.
DCA...Grizzly, Tower, Screamin'

Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, California Screamin', PeopleMover, Rocket Jets, Country Bear Jamboree.
I don't think it would exactly be easy to demolish the Matterhorn or Space Mountain anyways.
