Question Disneyland's 50th

Does anyone have any info on what Disney will be doing for Disneyland's 50th?

I've heard that there are some major overhauls on some of the attractions as part of this, such as the POTC getting new scenes (Walking the plank,...)

Also, what do you think they should do for the 50th?

Hi!

Only the rumors going around the sites is what I have heard. I was hoping for a new e-ticket attraction for the 50th.

What would you want Disney to do for the 50th?

I agree Michael, the Disneyland park is due. Its been quite a few years since its had a new e-ticket ride. I have a subtle fear that the new park is going to try and distract from that.

Hi Guys, I may be able to give some info on D/land's 50th....

Early this month, the Imagineers presented some Grand plans for D/Land's 50th Anniversary as part of a press conferance - apparentley the project is very much alive & involves massive updates & enhancements to 5 existing classic attractions including Small world, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain & the Jungle Cruise. These changes include things like WOW factor new features as a multi million dollar park reinvestment... Artwork has already been shown & apparently will be floating around after we can expect to hear an announcement made by Cynthia Harris sometime in Feb. The topic of Tomorrowland was mentioned as "closed" although a few plans are in the pipeline... The next big "E" ticket for D/L we can expect at this stage to open in Frontierland, of all places!!! But with 5 of the Park's best Attractions getting full makeovers + the Pooh ride, a cuppla of newies 4 Tomorrowland & a really big one for Frontierland a couple of years later, expect a big 50th Anniversary for the Mouse House!!
