It was probably one of the power lines in the background of one of the pics.Originally posted by AshZero

Sorry to bring back such an old topic, but I have a question for Michael (or whoever it was that shot the footage for the Grizzly River Run video). How did you get footage on the ride itself? Weren't you afraid of getting your camcorder wet? Or have you made some sort of waterproof cam like Robb Alvey at Theme Park Review?

NOTE TO READERS: YellowMan has been known to joke around from time to time. Please don't take some posts by him to their full, literal meaning. Doing so will most likely end in one of the following: making a fool of YellowMan, making a fool of yourself, making a fool of Ronald Reagan, drymouth, or in rare cases, death. Thank you and enjoy your stay.

I think that GRR is the best water ride anywhere. I love the drops and going into the mountain, I wasn't expecting that. And it's even better at night, you get all wet and there's never a wait.
To bad the ride can't be longer but oh well.
Oh and TrolLinda I don't think that you will get sick my mom hates all rollercoasters and even star tours, but yet she went on it and said that it wet but fun.
The only part the kind of gets me dizzy is the loading platform just going around and around in circles.

I love GRR! The main drawback is that you can get REALLY wet, so we don't ride it in the colder months. BUT the first time we rode it was on a cold January night at a preview event...Brrrrrrr. Anyway, don't sweat the spining, it's NOTHING like the teacups. I'm not big on fast spinning. In fact, when I ride the teacups, I don't spin the wheel, it's more fun to just glide around.

YellowMan,
Its amazing what a tripod and a Ziploc bag can do. Yes a tripod...although I used it more of a Monopod. The Bag was cut at one end and then taped around the lens. The only part exposed was the lens.... everything else was protected. I have used this technique before many times

My family and I really enjoy GRR. The only thing that would make it better for us would be to add a little Disney-magic to it such as audio-animatronic critters like the old Mine Train to Nature's Wonderland had.

Re: Grizzly River Run Attraction Guide
question,
is the quee worth checking out. I mean I know its not like indy or rodger rabbit but would it be worth it to wait in line rather than get a fastpass,
witch is what I ALWAYS do on waits more than 45 min.

Re: Grizzly River Run Attraction Guide
No not really. Plus did you know that GRR is on it's own Fastpass network? That means that you can be holding a Fastpass for GRR and still get another one for any other ride in the park at the same time.

Re: Grizzly River Run Attraction Guide
I actually like the Grizzly River Run queue. But I would still Fast Pass it if you'd have to wait more than 45 minutes.
