I was lucky enough to catch the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in front of the floral Mickey in July. She told her story and even sang! Then they moved to the Train Station and took some photos. There was a huge crowd and everyone seemed to love it. My mom said the Dwarfs used to be out all the time. She said they were a staple at the park.
It's really too bad they aren't out anymore.![]()

The last time we went, Nov '04, it was Pluto that was everywhere. We must have seen him 5 or 6 times during our 5 day stay. You do have to see Cruella near her trailer in DCA, she really is great!! She is rude and totally played her character well.
Isn't the Mickey's Toontown Madness supposed to bring out a ton of characters? I cannot find much info on this event.

I got this picture taken with this character that was sleeping on a fountain in DTD. I remember thinking: "Otis of Mayberry" cuz his breath smelled of hootch, and his costume was a bit soiled, and then I remembered The Andy Griffith Show wasn't a Disney film. But I figured, Oh well. There are a few characters I don't know, because I haven't seen all the movies Disney made, and just go with the flow.
Funny thing tho'. He did this bit where he wanted to "borrow" $10, and so I played along with it, closing my eyes for ten seconds. When I opened them, he was gone.
Haha. Those Disney Characters!
Anyone know where I can get my $10 back?

Last time in summer 04, we got great pictures with Cruella right near Main St. as well as Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Mary Poppins, and Alice. Our gang were ecstatic. Try hanging around in the square just before Main St. to the right when you walk in. Always been our best character spot.

Buzz can usually be found throughout the day near the Club Buzz Stage.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

City Hall used to be able to tell you if and when a particular character will be out-I don't know if they still do that or not-we "stalked" Mickey that way once. This was years before Toontown opened, so it was the only way to get a one-on-one with him.
I also heard that right after "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" came out that they used to do a thing called "character floods" where something like 30 characters would "flood" a particular area all at once.
Never experienced one, but it sounded pretty cool!

Goofy always seemed to be everywhere we go. He was sporting his western outfit in Frontierland, in ToonTown next, then Main Street then in the Hollywood Backlot countless numbers of time.
