Yes, this is exactly the type of information I want to hear. Something that is original, fun, and isn't themed to a movie. Imagine driving a bumper car through a funhouse and trying to bump into different targets. The idea of adding GPS is also brilliant. They could use it in order to keep people moving in the right direction. If they get off track, the GPS kicks in and corrects them. The vehicle could even take over at points in the ride in order to maneuver you through certain show scenes. I really think this idea could be cool.

Well, I bought a premium pass this year, and the guy at the Disney Store strongly implied I already was King of Disneyland. Is this not true? Did I get bad information? I've already fired several CMs for general disrespect and slovenly appearance... I hope this didn't create too much confusion.

I would like to see the ride be built soon. It sounds fun. I dont really want to see the board games go, but if that what it would take to get it built then by all means go for it.

The latest plan for the attraction is to make it an interactive ride where guests fire a gun at objects that pop up on screens as the vehicle moves through the attraction. It is more like a cross between Buzz, Roger Rabbit, and the Vitural Pirates at DisneyQuest. And the characters are all themed around Toy Story, but minus Buzz himself. That was the latest I know from a few months back. This could attraction could begin construction within the next 6-8 months if it gets approved. John Lassiter was up at WDI this past week reviewing this attraction and Incredibles. |
