One word seems to come to mind with all this, retrofit. Hey guys lets take an already existing ride system that can be seen 10 minutes from here and theme it to the EXACT same movie, only using the other main character instead. Please this is total garbage, you are going to have a hard time convincing me that this is ultimately what any park goer wants.

Yes these are disney parks and people there for expect disney, but the american audience has accepted for quit some time that disney doesn't always equal a movie based ride. Use woody in an attraction but appropriately, something that fits his theme. Don't try to retrofit him into somewhere where he doesn't belong, like ummm I don't know a sea side pier. This is honestly a joke, an attraction like this begs for an original theme and it can survive very successfully with one. I almost think management has lost it when they can't even build or support one new original attraction. When this concept was first mention I honestly thought it would be original because I couldn't think of any obvious movies to tie it too, but low and behold no matter how absurd, they have found a way.

This attraction could be very neat if themed to an original sideshow with GPS self driving/self driven bumper cars. Anything else and I think they are just looking for another

Matterhornwas based on a movie, and poeple mover had TRON. And yes, if Disney owns it, it is Disney's period!

We are not even sure at this point what the ride system will be exactly? A little early to call it a retrofit or copy of an existing ride. I think they have something with interactive type rides, they add a whole new element to the experience.

I see it as a new attraction headed to DCA's PP. I'm going to save my judgement until this thing gets officially announced. For now I am feeling pretty good a new attraction is coming!

First off TRON was not in the original PM. Well yes but their are no characters on the Matterhorn that are from the movie. Woody is from Toy story.
I hate to sound like I jerk but I would be fine with this ride if we only had some Pixars ride be we have too many now.
I now that Disney has the rights to the movies but in realty Pixars made the films. Disney takes too much credit for these movies. Just like Nightmare before Christmas.

Jungle Cruise is inspired/based off the 1945 film the Jungle Queen.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

Pixar wasand is Disney. THey had Disney Animators making the movies for Disney. And i don't understand why people are so down on Pixar and want more "Disney". Name a Disney hit in the last 5 years besides Chicken Little.

I cant but they sill have movies like Lion King, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the beast that need rides I also think Aladdin needs a ride. I just tried of Pixars, I miss Disney characters. Besides I only like one of the rides based off Pixars and thats monsters but even thats not on my top 10's list. Besides we already know another Pixars ride is coming after this so thats another reason I am against this ride.
