Brother Bear's success really came at the DVD sales, but you are correct that Lilo & Stitch was a success at the box office.

I'm not so much against the Pixarness of this as I am against the fact that it sounds like it is based too much off a movie that already has a ride

I mean I like Buzz in Tomorrowland and I really don't have a problem with how it matches up but you have to admit it sounds a bit repetative to have a ride
based around a remarkably similar concept (shooting toys) with a different character from the same movie

I really hope they do something with the presentation and effects to make it feel very different from Buzz and alot more exciting

I really like the idea of an interactive ride but what's the point of it all if in every single ride I'm shooting at something (between this and Buzz and that rumor about that ghost capture game on the HM)

1) Thanks Marcie

2) I would approve of GPS bumper cars in an interactive dark ride with carnival games and freak show themeing called "Midway Mayhem". I think it's possible to have each car hold 4 people in 2 rows and everyone still gets a pistol to shoot with.

3) I highly dislike the Woody/Toy Story themeing in Paradise Pier more than the Woody's Roundup in Frontierland.

4) NO MOVIE TIE-IN, PLEASE!!

5) How are they mixing the POTC DisneyQuest game into this??

6) I think Incredibles will come, and then Cars will follow afterwards. With cars, I agree it can be more themed to California's car culture. Kinda like how "African Queen" inspired Jungle Cruise and "Third Man on the Mountain" inspired Matterhorn.

7) I would also approve of "streetmosphere" of bubble makers, jugglers, acrobatics, etc for Paradise Pier.

8) Is the show building being proposed south east of the parade shelter and behind CA Screamin' where currently it is backstage CM parking? LINK: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...02358,0.004313

Okay, glad I got all that out...

I wish they'd bring back DeVine. Three Bags Full and the flowers were dumb but I really like DeVine as roving entertainment... kinda like Push.

Lilo and stitch is dying fast, and Brother Bear would be hard to make a plot from, although Lilo and Stitch is a good movie, this is not the right setting for what they want to acomplish. I also don't understand why Toy Story is though....

Also, i want to point out that i put my full trust in WDI and the individual Imagineers, they know what they are doing, and because i want to be one someday, i have to support them, there is a reason they are doing this, they are not just going to do it for the heck of doing it. Have any of you considered that they might know a little bit more more then we know about doing this sort of thing???

^ yeah. But you can't always be a "yes" man. You have to say no sometimes.

I can't figure out for the life of me why there is no Lion King ride--dark or otherwise. I know there have been various incarnations of Beauty, Mermaid, and Aladdin shows, but why can't DCA or DL make the commitment to have a ride (not passive theater attraction) based on one of the most successful movies with which the studio has ever been associated?

Actually, the attraction opened in June 1959, and Third Man on the Mountain was released in November, so technically it's vice-versa. Well, actually, it's probably neither, just Walt's love of the mountain.

Ok...me too. Thanks for the dose of optimism, Mort. I needed that.
