Midway Mania at DCA?

If Iger is saying "higher quality" about future attractions, it gives me higher hopes about a new attraction a friend (who works at WDI) was telling me about called Midway Mania. He says that both DCA and the Studios in FL are getting it. I assume that this is the attraction that Marci refferenced.

I was at WDW last week riding Everest and I was asking about what he thought would be the next attraction (after Living Seas/Nemo) to be built and he said that both the Studios and DCA would be getting a new ride called "Midway Mania" (working title). He hadn't seen much but said that it is an interactive attraction and was kind of a cross between Roger Rabit and Buzz. The one at DCA is supposed to go in Paridise Pier and the one at the Studio is supposed to go where "Who Wants to be a Millionair: Play it" is currently loacated. We chatted about how this was supposed to theme into the Studios, but he really didn't know much more about the attractions because it is not his project. I remember reading a message board where Marci had mentioned that there was a proposal on the fast track for DCA that may be built prior to the proposed Incredibles or Cars attractions. I assuming this is it.

So possibly a "fun-house" type of attraction?

I'm picturing something like a ridethrough arcade game/shooting arcade.

Midway Mania. Which sounds like it would be perfect for the Pier area, but of course would be going into the more and more meaningless them of the studio section....ok.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know how they plan on theming a ridethrough arcade attraction to a backlot studio. My friend didn't know either. Maybe Marci has more information she can share to enlighten us.

At DCA, ThE8rLvr is saying it would go into Paradise Pier.
