Entitled to your opinion, as always.

Say, it just occurred to me that all that we got, numbers-wise, to verify Al's attendance numbers was projections.
Anybody got actual numbers? I know, state secret and all that. But leaks do happen.

They stopped giving them out 20 years ago. The reason was that they were concerned that competing businesses were using the information somehow.

To what end, I have no idea.

I know. Practically every amusement/theme park out there keeps the figures guarded. I'm with you, though, jonvn. I have no idea why.
I was just hoping one of our spies had the info.

I think the whole "WDI/Ouimet/Disney management doesn't care about DCA" is so overblown. It's running along the lines of the "DCA sucks" argument.
Of course, they care about DCA- it has the potential to make Disney some big bucks if done right. It is because it wasn't done well in the first place that it is going to take more time for long term planning.
Listen, I'm as anxious as everyone else to see DCA get better, but I'd rather wait until the long term plan is a great one than a quick fix.

Really, unless you know exactly what they were planning for, and what was expected and why, the numbers mean very little.

Could be 51k, could be 61k, could be 55k. It really doesn't matter to us, because we have no point of reference. So we don't know if this is good, bad, or indifferent.

taking thier time for a well thought out plan is fine and dandy, but there comes a certain point when you have to decide on a final product and you cant just keep pushing it back. How long are you willing to wait for WDI to come up with a final plan for the entry?

Well, our society isn't really known for its patience. We're talking about a fine dining experience in a fast food world.
I'm happy with what we have. That's good enough for now.

They are not on our timetable. There is nothing saying they have to do this or that. There really is nothing wrong with the entry area anyway.
