They might very well be. I'm not sure why they would want to build a huge attraction by sacrificing the land surrounding it.

Well....I certainly hope there are plans for the very modern looking PP Hotel to go along with this Victorian overlay for PP. Otherwise, it will just be more of the same mish mash mess we call DCA.
I'm really upset about the postponed entrance reworking. As it stands now, It's very ugly and uninspiring.

An Incredibles hideout in the Pacific Wharf would be a perfect setup for an attraction. Use some imagination.

Sorry Nemo, but you are dreamin dude!!

I am sure that the new millions being thrown at the Subs was taken from DCA funds.

If they were serious about REALY making this park a big hit and recoverring from the onslought of terribkle press, they would be pumping more than 1 new E-ticket every ten years into it.

Why the need to scrap the Entrance placemaking?

I will tell you why. They dont realy care about making DCA a classically great Disney theme park, rather they just care about making it acceptable to enough people to make it profitable.

I actuallu have come along way in the last year or sor, from being so excited about the future and new attractions, and realy felt it was going to take off, but i think it is fairly obvious i dont feel that way anymore.

So sad for me, because the DLR is where my heart lies, more so than WDW.

Oh well, at least I live in between the 2, and i can go visit parks like Animal kingdom and EPCOT, where they realy pump in the money for AWESOME new attractions.

I realy thought DLR was ready to take a big leap forward after the success of the 50th, but with all the delays and cancelations of attractions and Placemaking, it looks like they arent making ANY big plans for the future.

As i said, you have to hope they strike while the iron is hot, or many things can come along to change events.

What DCA needs, is Placemaking in the Entry, and the wharf expansion and Incredibles attraction.

They also need a new attraction in the Pier, along with a lagoon show.

Well, if marcie says that we wont see Incredibles before 2010, then i imagine it would be alot longer than that, and probably never.

This park, which is in desperate need of mind blowing attractions, is getting another D-ticket attraction and will go at least 10 years in between E-tickets.

My crowd just wont get excited about another Buzz type ride being added to the resort, and i bet this ride debuts with a big thud, unless it is vastly superior to Buzz.

Cant DCA get original rides??
Technically, WDW's version is the clone even though their attraction is opening a few months prior to ours. This attraction was solely designed for DCA in the beginning, but WDW decided they liked what they saw, and in this era of Jay Rasulo's "cheap cloning" ideas are the best ones, he approved WDW in getting a clone of Midway Mania.

And this is no Buzz Lightyear attraction. This one is way more interactive and unique. if WDI pulls it all off according to the designs it should be a very popular attraction and very much unique to that of Buzz.

Nah. It has nothing to do with the movie, and the movie has nothing to do with the area.

They really need to stop jamming attractions into areas they simply do not belong in.

I'm sure it'll be overlooked. That'd be a major operation in another area of the company, and I would imagine it not being part of whatever it is they are going to do in the park.

A really nice darkride in a really clean Six Flags type park. Yawn.

Which will really ruin any illusion of a time specific theme. Lame, lame, lame.

I think they should change out the train station on Main Street for a modern day Hilton style hotel. Who cares about seemless story telling anymore, the customers just want rides. Maybe run some modern day powerlines through Adventureland as well. Who cares.
