And this is no Buzz Lightyear attraction. This one is way more interactive and unique. if WDI pulls it all off according to the designs it should be a very popular attraction and very much unique to that of Buzz.
Marcie in your opinion would you say Midway Madness will be better than Buzz and Monsters? from what youve seen so far.

and do you think there is any truth to what planodisney was saying about them sucking the funds out of DCA to pay for extras (new effects on nemo etc) at DL?

I don't call it imagination, I call it limited thinking from the Imagineers. I would much rather see Midway Madness than The Incredibles.

I new this was precisely what was going on, and didnt have a hill of beans to do with, "just making sure it gets done right".

As i said, you have to hope they strike while the iron is hot, or many things can come along to change events.

What DCA needs, is Placemaking in the Entry, and the wharf expansion and Incredibles attraction.

They also need a new attraction in the Pier, along with a lagoon show.

Well, if marcie says that we wont see Incredibles before 2010, then i imagine it would be alot longer than that, and probably never.

This park, which is in desperate need of mind blowing attractions, is getting another D-ticket attraction and will go at least 10 years in between E-tickets.

My crowd just wont get excited about another Buzz type ride being added to the resort, and i bet this ride debuts with a big thud, unless it is vastly superior to Buzz.

Cant DCA get original rides??
It was never about "getting it right",Ive been saying that from day 1.Just because WDI has delays in a project doesnt mean they are creative delays. So many people on this board kept saying "I am willing to wait so they can get it right",but that wasnt even the reason it was taking so long. Its taken so long to happen because they need to justify if this whole placemaking thing is worth spending money on,especially if they can build rides like Monsters and the people will still come.

Just a bunch of the same-ol-same-ol. More rides shoe horned into a uninspiring amusement park.

I dunno about that Doppio,Midway Madness sounds like a perfect fit for a boardwalk pier.Hardly "shoehorned".If anything its being shoehorned into Disney MGM Studios!

A Victorian pier with modern day hotels, a modern day convention center, and modern day powerlines looming in the background will just ruin any illusion they are trying to create. Half assed.

great to hear the new Marcie, thanx! I'm a little un easy though cause I really wished they started work on the entry hub this fall. I like the bridge, its ok in my opinion. But dude! The sun hub cap? no way. You got a park with a castle in the center, then you have a park with a huge sun hub cap? I dunno..... I mean maybe if it had spinners or better but a spinner, but still it ugly. Hope it turns into scrap metalk in the near future.

Marcie, one question if you don't mind me asking. What bout the rumor about the monorail making a new stop at paradise pier? Any truth to this rumor? Heres a link to it just incase your not familar....

Paradise Pier Monorail Station?

Absolutely no truth to that rumor. There are no plans for the Monorail beam to be extended to any new locations, nor any new stops added to the current line.
