Excellent question! And the only answer I can possibly come up with is staffing issues.

Here's my take on it...if you don't like him/it, don't read it, don't discuss it. I personally enjoy his ramblings (and that isn't meant to be in a negative way), so I read it. And at times, I find things that are worth discussing. Today did nothing for me...just b/c I'm not a fan of attendance numbers. I do enjoy his photos, though. I liked seeing the way the DCA food stuff was set up.

I liked the photo of TOT. The landscaping is really growing nicely.

No kidding! I still don't understand why DCA doesn't have longer hours than it does, and why Disney closes so early. I miss staying up late and making it "an event".

But Nemo, the article wasn't jsut for you. Some people are interested in things like attendance and such.

That said, even I'm bored with the continuing cast member shortage stories. If it is that hard to get employees, obviously Disney will have to start rasing wages or back off on its attendance policies.

not directing the answer at you but thought i would use it as reference.

what I found interesting is how much the writer plays out the woes and chaos during the job fairs then in the boards one of the first posts is from a lady that say her daughter went to one of the job fairs.

Lady says her duaghter everything went well and they actually offered her daughter a higher hourly wage then she had requested. It was above $9.00.

Now i don't think that is a bad starting wage for a high school student who is still in the middle of developing a career and needs a nice part time job.

Excellent question! And the only answer I can possibly come up with is staffing issues.

I'd imagine that for time and a half they'd have an easier time staffing later shifts.

If DL went 8am-1am then DCA could go 10am-11pm or even 8am-11pm... why not open with Disneyland?

Transportation hub sucks hard enough to take the chrome off a bumper. I like the idea of extending the forest through cementdor flats, but only if it involves ripping out the giant cement slab and redoing the PEBs (off-the-shelf pre-engineered-buildings).
In my opinion.

Just out of curiousity, if they tore out the giant cement slab that runs thru the land what are people suppose to walk on? dirt?

On topic... I also find the casting woes pretty boring.

[Edit: Good point jbradway... However, I'd imagine that things have chaned since the decision was made to axe those after midnite hours. Especially since lately it's been reported that per capita spending has gone up.]
