This may sound stupid/silly..
But where do Disneyland and DCA's ride vehicles come from?
WDW assembles/makes them onsite at Central Shops behind the Magic Kingdom park and then ships them to whichever park they're going to. Recently Clamobiles from Nemo were seen getting their assembly and wiring done, and before that people saw M:S pods being put together, wired, etc.
Since DL doesn't seem to have a dedicated space like WDW does for such things - where do they come from?
Are they shipped whole from Imagineering? How does the process work over there?

I believe many DLR ride vehicles were actually made at the same WDW "plant" that you described, KNRG....

There were some pics of the Tower of Terror elevators being delivered down Harbor Blvd. a few years ago.

07-11-2006 07:10 PM #8No....there's nothing behind TL besides old adminsitration buildings, character costuming, TL scheduling, and the CM cafeteria. Most vehicels are refurbished/fix in back of towntown in the buildings that hold up toontown's "million dollar wall" (you know the wall that has the painted hills and says toontown). Well, those buildings are the ones that hold all the machinery to fix/create the vehices and they also house some of the parade floats. Other vehicles come from imagineering in Burbank. I think Rollercoasterpro.com posted pictures of trucks carrying SM tracks a while ago.

Most vehicles come from WDW central shops unless there is a "off the shelf" attraction built by a manufacturer. For example, the Pooh vehicles at Disneyland were made at WDW.
