Does anyone know how the new Tomorrowland Monorail Station will look like? Now they will be closing it for the constructions on the sub lagoon and with the arrival of the redesigned monorails, it would be a good chance to give this stations a much needed (in my opinion) change. It never looked much "tomorrowish" for me anyway...I surely hope they could build a new one with a more distinct look..something that made you truly belive that you are arriving in a land of tomorrow. What do you guys think?

I don't really have an answer to your question, but in riding it Wednesday night, I did overhear a CM say that it would be closing next month, reopening in December. I assume, then, that the new station will be built this fall? Or maybe they'll have a temporary set up for Christmas, and then finish the station in the spring?

I think so...Assuming that it will be rebuilt...Maybe they are just planing to change the ramp and the elvator, while living the station's loading area as it is nowadays....I surely hope not.

Well, since I'm in that area every day, I'll try to keep everyone updated. :-)

I'm sure that the Monorail station construction will involve some cosmetic changes. I'm hoping it will better match the blue/sliver colors that are in the rest of Tomorrowland.

I think one of the pieces of Nemo concept artworks shows the lagoon with the station in the background. I didn't see anything significantly changed about the design of the station.
With this ring...

That concept art was kinda lame. Looked like the Submarine Voyage with some birds painted in.

Yeah, all the concept art really showed was the sub in the water and a bouy with a seagull, the changes to the lagoon weren't shown.
