With the resinstatement of annual pass sales about a year old now, how many of you are getting ready to renew?
I just got mine off in the mail today, so I should get it in a few weeks. I think the service by mail is a wonderful convienence for people out of the area like myself.
At first I debated, if I should do it by mail, or if I should just wait till my next visit? After all why start the calendar year ticking before you can actually go?
There really is no right answer, but for mere convience, and the $10 off, I went ahead and did it. I know I won't be out until at least May, but somehow I think they day I get my new pass in the mail, I will get the incentive to book another trip to California.
I look at my pass sadly now, it's got about 3 weeks left on it, but I'm certain I won't get to California by then. (I have a trip to Idaho in 2 weeks, so California is out of the question)
But what a year it's been, some exciting times, and some disapointing things, but overall a good investment for all the entertainment it brought.
As summer approaches, it will be exciting to see the return of Fantasmic, the return of Eureka, and all the rehabs complete. Hopefully Superstar Limo will reopen. And although I don't have high hopes, it will be interesting to see Flick's Faire when that opens in fall.
So now I have annual passes to Disneyland, DCA, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Sea World Florida, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens, Typhoon Lagoon, Bl;izzard Beach, and Pleasure Island.
Now if I can just get my dream trip to the Paris resort booked, I'll probably come home with annual passes to that park as well.

Can you give me more information on getting an annual pass through the mail?

If you are already a passholder, you will get a renewel form automatically in the mail about a month before it expires.
Of course in my situation I didn't get it and had to call, but they very politely told me didn't know why I didn't get the original and offerred to resend it.
So if it's about a month before your pass will expire, look in the mail, and call if you don't get it.
If you a getting a pass for the first time, you have to do it in person.Last edited by DLMAGICDARREN; 03-19-2002 at 11:26 AM.

Thanks for the info. This will be a first time thing for us, so I guess we'll do it next time we're there.

Each time I have re-uped the card design has been different, but you can choose to use the same picture if you want, they keep them on file. Adults can use the same picture, but kids need to get new ones because they change so much in a years time. We are getting our new one at the park on Friday. Ours expires on Saturday.

At disneyland.com, I believe you can go to the new annual passholders site and print the renewal forms. If you don't receive your's in the mail and you don't want to miss out, I think they have all the info there about where to mail the form.
