New Thunder Saftey Speil

well say goodbye to the days where the Miner would say Howdy Folks please keep your Hand arms and Legs inside the Train and rmain seated cuz this heres the wildest ride in the wilderness....... they re did the speil there is now about a 12 second Spanish speil infront of that and a longer speil theminer says that includes him sayind watch your children.... it sounds horible in so many ways I will miss the old seil...

First the Haunted Mansion, now Big Thunder Mountain, next thing you know, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain will get one too.

This goes beyond safety, this violates all of the Disney magic.

You can get a fun ride anywhere. People come to Disneyland for the attention to detail on the theming and for the magic that comes as a result. I can't believe they're doing all this.

Has it really been so long that we all forgot who is responsible for the "blasphemous" safety spiels? Anyone remember CAL-OSHA? They're the guys who shutdown Perilous Plunge (ring a bell yet, or shall Madame Leota try to channel a spirit for you?). Ya, when the government says 'you all need to make your rides safer or we'll shut you down', I guess people listen. CAL-OSHA is just inserting it's foot to make this park safer (I mean come on, look at how unsafe it is now!). So perhaps we all need to stop crying 'How dare Disney' and focus on the real reason safety spiels must be updated and extended.

On a side note, perhaps CAL-OSHA's money could be put to better use? What is more needed here in California, safety spiels or aid to the homeless? hmmm.....

Does the miner sound anything like the original miner spiel?

I'm ok with longer spiels; while fans keep asking for "more thrilling" rides like Rock N' Roller Coaster, ToT, etc. Disney will have to compensate with more security measures. A little spiel is better than a CM having to explain how to lower the lap bar like an airline attendent.
