    DCA's TOT article

Anybody seen the new Summer 2002 edition of the Disney magazine? There is a very intresting article in their about DCA's own Tower of Terror, and gives a teaser of one "missing" element the WDW version does not have that the DCA version will.

    It's on page 23

Reading it, I'm more excited then before to see how it turns out!

    haha!!!!

I don't know how they do it, but even with the correct address in the computer, I never seem to receive my "free" copy of the Disney Magazine for being a annual passholder. Oh well! What is the missing element Darren?

Trust me First Base, I have had my problems with getting the magazine as well, but I finally get it problem free, and I don't even know if it's because I'm a DLR passholder, a WDW passholder, or a Disney Club member, LOL, but at least I get it!

The article just teases you, it obviously would not give away real secrets but it does tell you it will involve some "disappearing guests".

It also confirms the DCA will have three operational elevators, while WDW's version has only two. That's great news for capacity issues!

Also it goes into that while the tower in WDW is rumored to have been built in 1917 (LOL), the DCA version is rumored to have been built in 1928, and has a southwestern design to it, very different then the Florida version!

For some reason, I have 2 copies of that issue.

I thought the article was a great teaser for ToT-DCA

well i had not recieved mine so i fphone the offices and they checked the computer and i should had recieved it first week of may. They asked me if i wanted a replacment issue or just add another season to my subscription.

Oh just a suggestion for those of you thst have multi AP's from both Disney resort and/or the Disney Club call the disney magaize phone number and ask them not to send you duplicate issues but to add the extra years on to one. That way your subscription will last longer than any of the passess. My issue does not expire till 2007 becuase i have them put my Disney club and annuall passport all in same acount and every year that i buy new pass they just add it on.
