    Celebrities at DL/DCA

Just wondering if any of you have seen celebrities being rushed around by Public Relations Cast members at DL or DCA. A few years ago I saw David Hasselhoff and his family and they were staying at DL hotel (Bonita Tower). Last summer I saw Cal Ripken at DCA (although that was for his celebration). And, just this last March, I saw two people, Arnold Schwarznegger (he was a lot shorter than you would think) and I also saw my future wife, Cindy Crawford. Let me explain this one b/c as a 21 year old male, this was one of the greatest moments of my life.
My little sister and I were on autopia and she is in a wheel chair. She can drive her own car though and she was in the car in front of me. As we came around to get back out, I hurriedly jumped out of my car to get her wheelchair and get it over to her. Well, there was two ladies standing right in front of it with a few little kids. In my hurried state to get the wheelchair, I didn't really look up at them and instead I just said excuse me and they were very polite and got out of the way and then as I grabbed the wheelchair that is when our I looked up and our eyes met. She is beautiful in person and so was her friend, who I am sure was a model too. Anyway, I didn't act stupid surprisingly and said thanks for getting out of the way and then we had to come back around them to get back to the elevator and she said and I quote, "Oh I am sorry, we just seem to keep getting in your way." (I still hear them like she just said them to me:rolleyes: ). I know, I am pitiful. Anyway, I said, oh no problem, don't worry about it or something like that came out of my mouth, with my tongue and some slobber right behind it. I then turned to my sister and told her that was cindy crawford and she didn't believe it until she saw her and then we both stood in amazement for a few seconds waiting for the elevator. I am still catching my breath. Anyway, if anybody has some experiences like this, and I am sure you cast members out there do, I would love to hear them and hear about some of the celebrities and what they do when they go to DL or DCA.

I helped Cindy Crawford and her family at Splash Mountain once. I've also met Barbara Mandrell (and the Mandrell sisters), Connie Seleca, the father from 7th Heaven -- Stephen Collins, Hope from Days of Our Lives,

I was Robert Guilliom's (sp?, the guy who did the voice of Rafiki) 'gopher' one day for a TV shooting at the Park. That was pretty cool. He

I walked past Meg Ryan, sitting at the tables just inside Candy Palace drinking a diet coke from Coke Corner. This was right after the scandal with Russell Crowe was going on. She was with her son and one of his friends.
About 2 or 3 weeks ago, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson ate at Rancho, and he ate all of my burrito!!! (sorry, i had to brag.... )
Before Indiana Jones opened to the public, there was a celebrity weekend and we were in the park that weekend and i saw all sorts of people, however i was 12 or 13 and can't remember all of them, but i do remember seeing Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Elliot Gould and Dean Cain (poor guy was being mobbed...)

I'm always at Disneyland on days that celeb's are there. I have a really good story..
One time, me and all my friends went on Indiana Jones (there were about 10 of us, so there were 2 x-tra seats) Some VIP's were in our car, but I was in the front so we didn't notice who they were. Anyways, we got stuck at the boulder part so we waited. I got bored and so I began to break out in Zip-a-de-do-dah, and so did all my friends. Suddenly, I heard a really familiar voice say "Wow! You kids are good" OMG, it was Whoppi Goldberg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKJKKJKJKJKKJK! If that was true, It'd be awesome. But really, I've never really seen a celebrity at Disneyland, except I was at DCA at one of the soap opera days.

I spoke with Patrick Stuart while in the swiss family tree house. It was really great cause he remembered me from 2 nights before when we had met and spoke at the cerritos performing arts center at the Lynn Redgrave Show. it was an odd coincidence but he was really nice. I didnt even mention the 2nd time about the first time but he remember me. That was made it extra special.

Someone mentioned to me that they saw Shaq and Kobe at Disneyland on July 4th. Whatta day to choose! Of course, with VIP escorts, it doesn't matter to them how busy the park is.

Michelle Pfeiffer and about 6 of her friends were dining at a table right next to ours at Club 33 last month. I couldn't believe it! She is such a talented actress.

I've often wondered, do celebrities and other VIP's get into the Parks backstage (i.e., not through the Main Entrance)? Just curious...
