    Exclamation Clones!!

    "Begun the Clone Wars have."

    Okay, Star Wars jokes asside.

Let's see, what clones have you noticed in the Disney parks be it ride mechanics or a compleate copy?

    I'll start.
    • Dumbo begotten Astro Orbiter begotten Aladdin begotten Triceratop Spin
    • Indy and the Temple of the Forbbiden Eye cloned to Indy and the Temple of the Crystal Skull begotten DINOSAURS
    • Jungle Cruise begotten the (now dead) Discovery Island River Boats on Discovery River begotten Porto Paradiso Gondala cruise
    • Teacups begotten Whirlpool begotten Ladybug
    • Splash, IASW, Tower, etc. times two!!!
    • Space and Materhorn times two! (well, four really... cause of the two different tracks...)
    • Journy into Inner Space begotten Haunted Mansion begotten Phantom Manor
    Any more?

Dinosaur (formerly Countdown to Extinction) came before Crystal Skull.

    There are 3 Splash Mountains.

There are 4 Space Mountains: TDL, DL, MK, DLP. Fifth will be in Hong Kong. However there is only 1 Matterhorn.

The same ride system for the Haunted Mansions was used for GM's World of Motion (precursor to Test Track). And it is used for Spaceship Earth, Living Seas attraction, and others.

The theater cars used in the Great Movie Ride are also used in Ellen's Energy Adventure.

    Pirates begat Maelstrom.

I know that there at least two Thunder Mtns., but the one in DL is a mirror image of the one in WDW.

    I just had a thought.

Would the steam railway and the mono-rails count as clones in anyone's book?

    Didn't DL's Thundermountain come first?
