Well I was at DIsneyland Today and notcied one new major Change just Done to the matterhorn.... the line is no longer 2 lines that go around both sides of the mountian... instead it is now one big line in front of the mountian and when you reach the fron of the line you can choose what side to go on left or right track... this just looks like a sign that there getting ready to add Fastpass to the Horn...![]()

Wow I went after it reopened and there was still 2 lines. What side was open? If the parade is about to start or already started, they shut down the Fantasyland side of the Matterhorn.

Both tracks were open yesterday but now the Line is one huge on in fron of the matterhorn and when you reach a certian point in the line it splits into two one leading to Track on the right one leading to the Track on the left... this way they can keep both sides open now during the parade and get better counts..

Ya I just read it on another site. So does it get real real crowded in that area? Im going to DCA on friday so I might run over to Disneyland for a little to see this. Does it seem more effective?

I pretty much liked the two lines they used before, this way the Tomorrowland side would be packed while the Fantasyland side would be empty... meaning less line for me. Hey, I'm only human!

I have to agree.. I have seen and heard that both sides are still open, I know they close down the FL side before/during the parade but that is about it, they allow the guests to choose what side they want, regardless if only one queue line was operating. What would you guys think about Fastpass on the matterhorn.. I like the idea!

We were just there a few days ago, and the line was set up so that it did not wrap around the sides of the mountain. They had an area in front of the loading place set up where the line zig-zagged around out front. I do not think at the time we were there that both sides were running. They told us it was a 20 minute wait, but we didn't stay because I know that it was alot longer than that. If you are used to the old set-up, you will probably be misled into thinking there is hardly a line for the ride. You dont see anyone until you get all the way around and then you see the line!!!!
