Disney Store to recall 14,500 dolls - Reuters, 11/21/02
Note: the doll is question is a 12-inch blue monster named Sulley holding a 6-inch doll named Boo.
QuikQuote: The Disney Store Inc. will recall 14,500 dolls sold at the company's stores in the United States that could be a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission said on Thursday.
Glendale, California-based Disney Store, part of entertainment-giant Walt Disney Co., said a ponytail on one of the dolls, created from two characters in the 2001 animated film, Monsters Inc., could detach and cause choking in small children.
Disney Store said no injuries have been reported.
