    Tower of terror?

Is the tower of terror like freefall at six flags? Or maybe like superman I have never been to MGM. But I here the Tower of terror is a great ride. Can you compare it to Mailboomer just only indoos? I'm just wonder. Thanks I'm kinda nervos to ride it.

I'd say the closest comparison would be frefall, since Maliboomer shoots you up, and freefall shoots you down.

But add a theme of a elevator where something has gone terribly wrong, instead of just a plain old drop. PLus unlike Freefall where you get one fast ride down, TOT will most likely shoot you back up and down a few times (I don't think any of the programiing sequences for DCA"s has been finalized, but that's how it works at MGM, plus they update thge drop sequence at MGM< so I'd guess DCA will do the same. MGM is currently on the 4th version of the drop sequence programming.

To me it's not nearly as scary as Freefall, and nowhere near as scary as Maliboomer, but it's such a better attraction then either of those. It's not so much just a drop ride like the rest, but an entire show building up to the drop.

We'll have to see just how DCA's version differs, but there is supposed to be an added surprise that MGM's version does not have.

That's the new Tower of Terror that is being built at DCA. It's located by the Hyperion Theater.

***Sorry, Alpha, rude of me to answer a question directed to you***

That is the Tower of Terror building, being built just south of the Hyperion Theater in DCA. That was about a 5:00pm shot. It is now covered with lots of grey screening to keep construction debris from falling on the crowds at DCA.

    Hey everyone..

I split this thread up and moved all the relevant posts over to it regarding WDW vs. DLR etc.. You can access it by visiting the following link:

Please try to keep this thread on topic about Tower of Terror. Thanks.

DCA is a creative and marketing failure. It's so bad, it's good. That's the unofficial motto of DCA.

A'ight.. so.. how does everyone think the attraction will hold up with the 5th dimension room removed? Can the new effect really make up for it?

BTW.. I liked Kristin better than Natalie.
