Disneyfanatic, we were broken up into 3 groups, so as you saw the one group in front of Rivers of America, 2 others were at Small World Square and Main Street at the same time. I wonder if you saw the group while I was there or if you saw one of the other wristband colored groups.
I'm glad you liked the article!

Darren that was a great story!! I could really picture it as I read it! You said (in the story) that the apartment area was up above the buildings on main street? I thought it was just above the one portion of New Orleans Square! Just how big is the whole apartment? Does Club 33 take up the whole area? The potatoes sound like the ones they serve in the River Belle Terrace. I have the recipe and it is a favorite at our house for special breakfasts

Sorry if I confused you, the apartment I was referring to on Main Street, above the fire station, has nothing to do with club33, or the complete apartment that Walt later built for Lillian. That original apartment was used by Walt as an office, and he spent many nights there working. While Lillian fell asleep in that one many times, the place was far to small, and so Walt decided to build the new place.
The Disney gallery is usually what is thought of when referring to the apartment that they were building, but club33 extends throughout the entire upstairs area of New Orleans Square. There is the trophy room, the entrance, a hall, and a huge dining area. Balconies let you see the view of exactly where you are. On one end you are looking straight out at Tom Sawer Island, and the other end right down at the main entrance to club33.

Thanks for clarifying. It sounds like you had a really great time, will you be able to get back for the Christmas season? I hear they are going to have snow!

Christmas? That's to far, I'm planning on being there for the monorail re-opening round trips next month!
But yes, that snow sounds neat!

darren, the group i saw was at about 9:00 am, so you'll have to tell me if it was your group or not, because i didnt even think to look for wristbands, so i couldnt tell you what color they were,
