So I was playing around with an aerial photo of the Disneyland Resort and decided to see how phase II of DCA could look if some of Disneyland's immersive rides were fit into the space. I just wanted to see how the footprint of these attractions would fit. I placed the following:
T T= Toon Town
POTC = Pirates
SW = Small World
HM = Haunted Mansion
Indy= you know
Mainstreet= The four little rectangles grouped together
Now you can imagineer the attractions into the buildings but I found it very interesting how they fit. As you look at DCA from the air it is easy to see many places to build inside the park the now.

That's really great how both parks will eventually be roughly the same size.
I hope Disney can do something with that corner though.

I don't think you could really plop things down like that, as the way you have it does not allow for any theming surrounding the buildings.
But it's a good way to show how much space there actually is.You may contact me via jonvn@nadelberg.com.

In other words, since the Grand Cal is roughly the same size as Adventureland, DCA will never be the same size as Disneyland.

Dizfan said "roughly"...sheesh! You don't have to analyze something an be rude to a small post.

Millionaire doesn't have any theming expect for the marque.
Screamin' has a plain concrete queue.
Soarin' is just a hangar with an outdoor queue.
If DCA does have theming, it will be raising the bar.

Oh woody, you're such a ray of sunshine. I love the way you don't rudely shove your opinion down other people's throat...

Also, your forgetting that the driveway to timon parking lot wont be needed as well. And perhaps they could get those hotels to sell someday. But remember how long it took DL to grow as big as it is.
Peace
