GCH Renovations??

I heard somewhere that they had recently renovated GCH. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so what did they do to the rooms? Be nice if they installed larger refrigerators, it sure is hard to get a 12-pak and bottle of wine in with all of the snacks from Marcelines

Not to my knowledge. There was a fire in the lobby that forced them to replace some stuff but that's about it. The exterior of the hotel was re-painted though.

I agree. I think it's the post-fire lobby repairs you've been hearing about, which are still on-going.

They have done a lot of outdoor painting as well. It seemed like they repainted the entire outside.

They did carpet replacement in the convention space.

They are currently re-slurrying the drive.

Thank you all for the info. I read in another discussion that they are going to replace the beautiful carpeting in the lobby that was ruined by the fire.... I was kind of hoping for larger flat panel tv's ...... right!
