SO I can't wait to see whats under those tarps probably just white paint though so probably nothing to get to excited about. The winery is being repainted as well it looks like and the coke building in HPB that was just painted with Monsters.

i think that corner of the park would be the perfect place for an attraction with some height.

Wether it be something like what i mentioned several years back --

an elaborate themed dark ride inside a themed seaside village. The second and third story of the construction could be more hotel rooms that are themed to match the village/town. The backside would be themed to match the GCH. It would block some of the piers sitelines from the foresty themed GCH and would also block most of the outside view of the Paradise pier hotel (at least from the area)

    or

Add DCA's own Haunted dark ride. The building tall enough to block some sitelines with the back of it themed to match the GCH. Even if it meant adding three dimentional trees made out of cement mixed in with real trees.
(kind of what they accomplished inside the queue for E.T. at Universal.)

If they went with the Haunted House attraction it could easly be included into the Paradise Pier land or into an old abandoned village next to a water port.

so many possibilities it surprises me that management does not let WDI get creative. Unless it is WDI that has lost its way.

Hello? DCA is getting attention! Some people just like to bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, bash, and bash some more. Gets a little old and repetitive, doesn't it?

Hopefully this new round of painting (or whatever they're doing) is in preparation of the placemaking the pier will receive when major construction on Midway Mania begins. Yay for progress!

Well I think everyone is entitled to thier opinion,I wouldnt call it "bashing",no more than someone wanting Tomorrowland to get improved is bashing.Everyone has thier opinions on what should or shouldnt get done, its no biggie as long as everyone plays nice.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that hey get rid of the ugly stucco look on the pier buildings. Even if they do not add real wood as long as they theme some of the buildings to look like they are made of aged wood as if they have been thru the harsh sea weather.
