WDW definately has the better Splash. There are more show scenes, and they are more lush, and immersive. The trees that cover the inside of WDW's Spalsh are full of many branches and leaves, where DL's is done with hanging willow-type things. There is also an extra drop in WDW's Spalsh. Sorry, DL, you DO have the better Pirates, but the Splash nod goes to WDW.

Actually, DLR has the same number of drops throught the ride as WDW does. I like it that the drops are (even though are smaller) are spread out. Because, that would make the ride seem kind of boring to most people because they mostly look for the drops. The small drops, as little as they are, are fun and get you still wet a bit. But that's my opnion.

I guess it really depeneds on what you prefer. Whose music do you prefer? DLR's or WDW's. By this I don't mean how it is on the ride, but the actual music itself. Like if you were just listening to the musicf right now.

I love WDW's version...I just wish we wouldn't get so wet.

That's odd. I have heard that WDW's is drier than DLR's. And that TDL's is even drier than WDW's!

When I went on MK's I got drenched (I think light-dreching on GRR) definatly wet enough to make my shoes, pants and shirt full of water. Its not so much from the drop but when you round the mountain and another log is dropping the show slash lands on the logs going by.
Someone also mentioned the slaming of the logs along the walls at DL back in the earlier pages,I agree with that the logs at MK just seemed like they fit the flumes better and was a nice ride plus the logs seemed to go by the show scenes a lot slower than DL's(grated though DL was built first and MK's had the advantage of getting the kinks out). Oh and the seats were really comfortable to sit in too."Tomorrow will be better for as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life." Walt Disney

When we were at DL in mid-July we went on Splash in the late evening and got absolutely soaked. I overheard some CM's who saw people coming out off the ride say they hadn't seen so many people get that wet before. A few of the riders coming off behind us said the same thing and also said that the water seemed unusually high.
