Disney won't do anything to Al for those backstage pictures. If he didn't trespass, then he did nothing wrong.

Whoever took those pictures, though, did do something wrong, and if they catch that person, then they can get into trouble.

Yeah, I was there a week and a half ago. The weekend was packed both days, Monday a little better and Tuesday was awesome!

Personally, I don't think that they are. Just because you can see over the wall because of an elevated position, you are still looking over a wall that they put up to block guests view. It is almost physically impossible to cover the whole area.

Is it O.K. to steal a dollar that you can see behind the counter just because you didn't have to open the safe? Both are stealling. One just takes more effort. Just like the effort of taking a few pictures in an area not viewable from an elevated position.

I don't know if that made much sense but backstage pictures are backstage pictures no matter where you are standing to take them.

I don't think Disney is necessarily hiding anything with the walls in the sub lagoon. It's just that the blue walls look alot better to an average guest than a bunch of burly, sweaty construction workers (silly, silly average guest).
The pics taken in the cave, however, meant trespassing and having to actually physically BE somewhere you're not supposed to. And I'm sure the people who ARE supposed to be there are not encouraged to take photos and post them on the web, to say the very least.

why do so many ppl hate Al Lutz?

It's mostly a personality and personal taste kind of issue with most people. I equate Al on the same level as the National Enquirer. Sometimes right, most of the time not.

However, as Fab and jonvn have mentioned, Al has very, let's say, colorful past with some of our beloved members. I've heard some of it. What I have heard is nasty and borders on criminal.

So, as you can see, it's not just a "I hate Al" process. There's history there.

Those backstage pictures were a new low achieved, even by him, and posting them without a spoiler warning. I just cant get over it... When is Disney gonna get on that?

I don't think it was low posting them, per se, but I think Iframed does have a point about the no spoiler warning.

You don't see anything! There isn't anything I saw that would ruin my trip. Rock work and such, things that were there previously.

I agree with cinder, all we really saw was a bunch of rock work and such, how does that ruin it? we dont know whats going to happen!
