Wouldn't it be so cool to have a Tower of Terror at DCA in the Hollywood backlot. It would fit right in and we need one on this coast. Who agrees?

haven't we talked about this already? Yeah the Tower would look great in the Hollywood Backlot and it would be great to be able to be able to go on it here instead of having to go all the way to WDW but... We already have a thrill tower, Anaheim might not approve not to mention there are a whole slew of building limits, Pressler won't have it, its pretty much impossible to replicate the detail put into the original (including all the disney and Twilight Zone artifacts), the outlook of the building will probably have to be changed, if the building is changed the pre-show and other items have to be redone, and if the DL resort would add a ride to DCA i bet it would be a great deal better if the DL resort created their own ride.

ToT sounds nice but when you think of it so cal already has 4 drop rides...2 in six flags, 1 at Knotts ans another in DCA. It would be best if they created sumthin new for DCA.

I agree, I think a totally new, highly themed attraction should be created for the new park!

I think these points were made before, but in case not here goes.
With the exception of Armegedon, I doubt DCA will expand Hollywood. TOT is a faboulous attraction, but since DCA already has Maliboomer, the drop thrill ride is already covered. Sure TOT is themed much better than Maliboomer, but since the jist of the thrill is already covered, I don't see them creating another. Also DCA already has two coasters, and one has a loop, so they have that pretty much covered to. Last we already are getting Superstar Limo, which may be a slow dark ride, rather than a coaster, but the theming is covered already. Last TOT is rushing you to Los Angeles, makes since in Florida but not very much in California.
Personally if and when they talk about future expansions, I'm guessing they would prefer to create a whole new disctric in the Timon lot. It looks like Gateway Plaza could easily have another entrance to a new distrct between the Hollywood entrance and the Bontiful Valley Farm entrance. I'm sure they built it this way for a reason. Doesn't mean the project will ever get final approval, but at least the potential is there that it could be built if the budget allows.
I would love to see a district themed to California mountains where they could cover the skiing theme could be covered. It's one of the themes not covered in DCA, but very unique to California. Grizzly has some snowcaps on it sure, but I get the feel of summer when I look at it, I think they need to cover that in the winter the same mountains have a very different appeal to them, yet you are still in the state of California.
Plus a mountain range helps with the berm issue!
And yeah, Shorty does need a WDW fund. If you ever get out here Adam, I'll show you a resort that'll blow your mind!

Don't forget, when the Christmas decorations come down, the new Disneyland resort opens up!

How about a under water tunnel think like at see world. You think they might add a real thrill ride in DCA? I know Screamin is kinda thrilling but c'mon...one loop? I would luv to see sum sort of coatsre with a fantastic theme do sum flips, curves, and twist. But im reminded that this is Disney not Six Flags!
