at Disneyland? Only VIP's? Do any castmembers have access to it? It's my dream to go in it. But I know it's highly unlikely that will ever happen.![]()

Aren't there pix of it from last year when some CMs went up there to fix it up for Xmas because Dick Van Dyke was staying in there?

I've been in it.
I had the privilage of going when I was on the Advisory Council in 2002/03. It is a cute little apartment, if you realize it was built in the 50's and in the style to match Main Street. What I liked was seeing some of the things that Walt and his family used during the early days of Disneyland. I even sat on a couch that he used ( just long enough to take a group picture). What I was told is that it is still used for VIP meetings etc. It really doesn't hold very many people at one time, so very small meetings.
I still look up at Lillian's lamp shining in the window and think, I was once up where Walt had fun with his kids and grand kids, and smile!

I've been there twice. Never been on the Lilly Belle, though.

doesn't it just eat at you that there are all of these secret places that of course you know about since you're a disneyphile but you can never see in person? just like the inside of the torch of the statue of liberty (or the crown, for that matter), the inside of mt rushmore, the matterhorn b-ball court, or walt's frozen head.

I've seen Walt's frozen head. It's on the Nadelbergs' mantel, next to Clarence Birdseye.
