    Brother Bear...

Brother Bear is a Disney character woody. That's a good example of theming to Disney. I also think it, unlike a lot of other areas is extremely well themed. That is one of maybe two or three areas that I don't complain about when it comes to DCA.

If approached very carefully, and a proper Disney character tie-in was used correctly (but subtlely), an Asian/Chinatown area in DCA could actually be very, very nice and would fit the balance of a more 'Disney' but still proper 'California' theme. A beautified and more floral/garden heavy Chinatown, if you will- with a more fantasy/Chinese legends (Mulan) feel.

I think Woody's point is Brother Bear was a movie that has nothing to do with CA and was forced into mark for marketing just because grizzly bears once lived in CA. I agree and also beleive that Brother Bear was forced into that section of park.

When did they put Brother Bear in that park? I just noticed it yesterday walking to GRR.

Brother Bear is something that kids can relate to, plus, what's on California's Flag??

A grizzly bear but the movie takes place in Canada or Alaska. We never have had mooses in CA. I can understand Grizzlies cause they once lived here and is our state animal.

I'd rather have something thing that is more unique to San Francisco like Lombard Street or Ghiradelli Square.

I agree, that would be so awesome.I love Asian culture and to couple that with Disney would be perfect. They could even add a nice (sit-down) Chinese restaurant in there!

I think it could work, Asian culture is very much a part of California's history.
