We all know about the renovation of the Disneyland Hotel that Marcie was talking about, but Ismael's article about his sister mentioned a new hotel being built.
If this is true...
What kind of "theme" do you think this new hotel should have?
Where should it be built?

New Disneyland Hotel?

I think that it should look somewhat like the other Disneyland Hotels (Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo) that sport a classy almost victorian look. I like the Disneyland hotel at the end of DTD and the Victorian spires would blend with a San Fran development in DCA.

I think the new hotel should be about dreams, magic, and fantasy. Oh wait...
I would like to see a Spanish Colonial or Mediterranean style hotel. I think that style would look nice driving along Harbor Blvd.

New Hotels In Disneyland...
Yeah Mort,
Not THE Disneyland Hotel, but a Disneyland hotel... in other words another hotel.
I'd try to give each new hotel a theme that was native to California... you know, like the Coronado, Spanish Missions, Beverly Hills Hotel, Art-Deco, National Park lodge... that kinda look.
I wish Disney would buy that land right in front of the resort as you come off the 5. If they put a resort there it would be a great way of telling the people that are coming into the park that "you are now leaving the real world"....

Hmmm, judging by the direction something else is taking, think it will be pirate themed?
Actually Spanish Colonial would work with that pretty well.
I'm only wearing black till they make something darker...

I think a Spanish style hotel is ok, but no pirates unless they put the Pirate Waterpark attached to it.

Sorry guys... but I'm a newbie here. Where do I post questions about a coin/pin called "The Disney Inn"?

Hi OlDisneyCastmem and welcome to the boards. You would want to ask this question in the collectibles and merchandise forum. I see you already have a question ongoing in there, you are free to add to your original thread. Somebody here may be able to help you out.
Thanks!

My hope for the DLR Hotels would be for a hotel on the site of the east shuttle area with adding a hotel in the art deco style and keeping the shuttle area some where in the mix and it would add a muc nicer walk way into the resort instead of the ulgy light poles and green cones although it does look a little better now with what thay have done to it and the YOAMD banners add some nice colors to it.
Also I would want the PPH to come down in favor of a new hotel in the Boardwalk Inn style kind of a "U" shape complex building and the opening faces DLH with a lagoon in the middle and the return of the paddle boats
giving the Bonita tower a much nicer view and blocking out the old ulgy view. Along with it would be a bunch of palm trees giving a buffer zone between the DLH and the lagoon.
