hey i have a couple of trip reports... i guess...
    1). April 20th/passover...

We went this day for my fraternity's formal, and had a great time... We got there around 9:30ish and the park wasn't even that crowded. The first ride we went on was Space Mountain and the wait was around 40 min. We were right about to turn onto that last ramp to the loading station in the queue, when the lights came on and we were directed outside of the ride building... we later found out that an Autistic boy had jumped on the track. It wasn't the railing part, but where the ride techs walk up and down to check your safety belts. But still, we were so shocked! After we left that and got our fastpasses for any ride except nemo, we went to buzz, nemo, Matterhorn, then Indiana Jones (for indy, we told them we had fastpasses from the Space Mountain thing, but they didn't take the pass... after there we rode pirates, HM, BTMRR, and the fantasyland rides... After a few more hours and eating in Downtown Disney at the Rainforest Cafe we went to watch the Fireworks, but they were canceled, so we went for the 1030 Fantasmic... let me tell you, i don't know what it was, but Fantasmic was totally amazing the colors and projections were way more vivid then i had remembered..! i couldn't figure out why but it was awesome, i guess they revamped the show...
after that, we went on HM, Indy, Buzz, and lastly Space! On the way out too we took pictures in front of the flower mickey that lights up now... it was pretty cool!

    Trip #2

This trip was awesome too... we got there right after the park opened, and there was literally no one there!!! we walked right on to Jungle Cruise, and then Indy... since Indiana Jones was the new thing going on in the park... after that, pirates, HM, BTMRR, Space Mountain, Buzz, Star Tours, Autopia, Inovenetions... where we tried the Segways... those things are totally hard and tricky to handle too... innoventions was totally being redone too, we were only allowed on the second level, and we could hear them sawing/hammereing down stairs... anyone know the deal? after that, we did the Train around the park which i hadn't been on in forever... then we went on Matterhorn, Honey i shrunk..., fantasyland rides, then we left really early...
Overall... it was an awesome couple of trips!!!

It sounds like you had two great trips.

They recently updated the projections and lighting in Fantasmic. I think it's awesome you noticed the difference. Innoventions is adding a futuristic "Dream Home" that is supposed to open soon. That's the construction you saw.

yeah... the changes were ridiculously noticeable, not only that, there were differences in the pyrotechnics too... but it was awesome to watch it again, a truly amazing improvement for the summer season! the dream house will be really cool to see too!

As an aside, I wonder how many of the DLR cats get mashed by rides each year?

While not necessarily a typical trip report, I think this counts.

    http://xdisneyx.blogspot.com/

My friend and I decided that we wanted to experience every ride, show, and restaurant at Disneyland so we decided to make a blog about it to chronicle our adventures with pictures. The first post is at the bottom and goes up from there. Please enjoy it as we're having a lot of fun with it, and please feel free to comment on the blog and let us know what you think as we are currently comment-less. Thanks!
