Hey, thanks for replying! I'm not sure when I want to start. I just found out about this very recently. I'm actually going to a presentation in Orange County today to get more info. I would like to start asap, but I think you have to be accepted first.....right? This program sounds like it could be a great opportunity. I'm a HUGE Disney fan, as I'm sure we all are on here, and would love to have a hand in the company in some way.

I believe they are still accepting applications for the session that has arrival dates on 5/19 and 5/22. I would check on the disneycollegeprogram.com website just to be sure. Once you do the application and interview it's a short amount of time before you hear back.
Still haven't gotten the packet that shows my role yet. My choices were Guest Relations, Attractions and Photopass. I specified Jungle Cruise and Tower. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I got into the Disney College Program at DLR for Fall 2008 (May/June - January)
I accepted my offer and I'm doing Attractions.
Only concern I have is that hopefully with the college program I can still attend my regular university...
I got to CSU Pomona and I'm a full time student and I wanna be able to attend while doing the College program. The program shouldn't cause my any problems until October.
Anyways Hopefully I get to do Indiana Jones or Tower of Terror! I specified those two rides when i did my interview!
SUCKS How i have to shave all my facial hair *cry*

Hey guys and girls. Just wanted to hop on here and let you know I was accepted into the program today! I'm waiting to find out what position I'll be in at the park, but I'm still excited. Thanks for the advice and info you provided me with. It really helped. Congrats to the others who were accepted too. I'll see you soon!

neat! the disney college program came to my college, sdsu, and talked to us about this... it was cool, i was going to do it since i'm in the HTM program (and could see myself working for disney)... they said too that you usually have to do something like this in order to get into the disney workings...
