If they are not going to use the track, then it should go. They don't even have to use it for a ride... use it as a showpiece. Shut down that spinning doohicky that used to be the Jets, bring the jets back up there, dump the ground version, and use the show budget to put moving figures on the track above, that are futuristic. Wall-E Robot characters come to mind.

Just a thought. Not a good one, but my point is, use it or lose it.

I know. Why let it just collect dust? I'm all for Rocket Jets returning. But I think they should put a ride there.

i think they should rethink a concept for rocket rods. it would be cool to see them come back. i remember loving the ride a lot. im just concerned about where the line would go since astro blasters took that over

also the rocket jets i wish would go back to its original spot to get rid of the traffic jam in the front of tomorrowland. but i find it hard having both rides up there.

I know that they still have a huge portion of the underground queue.

in the buzz lightyear gift shop i remember you used to be able to see the old line but they closed it off by placing a wall there. i wonder if that is still there or did buzz lightyear overlap it?

    i think your right

this could be a crazy idea but have the line be above on the roof above the buzz lightyear gift shop they could add the building upward and make it enclosed. i know this wont happen ever but its just a fun idea.

I think Rocket Rods was a waste. If they only would have added that loop!

I'm going to go with what seems to be the majority opinion: it was a good idea, but badly executed. Upper Management really should have sprung for the track improvements.

Wanna know what they did right, though? The queue. Very clever use of existing features like the Circle-Vision theater and old Tomorrowland ride vehicles. I especially loved the "blueprint room," with the vehicles painted to resemble 3-D building plans and displayed under black light. It tied Tomorrowland's past together with its future in a way that the old ride posters in Redd Rocket's...don't.

Yeah, the queue was actually fun on Rocket Rods. At least they kept you entertained as you waited.
