Predominance of screens AND no mermaids equals thumbs down for me. FNSV.

I had to vote for HISTA. Putting an already outdated attraction into TL and calling it "new"? Horrible idea, and Disney at its absolute worst. At least Rocket Rods will a little more cash could've been dramatically improved. HISTA was screwed from the beginning.

I concur. Rocket Rods was a good idea, and with more $$$ could have been an excellent ride, better than People Mover. Plus, the only other one I remeber was the Submarine Voyage, and I really didn't like Finding Nemo on the big screen, and to my dismay, I found the same movie on the little screens.

I said Mission to Mars -> Pizza Port. Not so much for the fact that Mission to Mars was outdated, but more because a potential space to add a new ride was lost to a restaurant. There's other, better space in Tomorrowland to throw a restaurant into (upper level of Starcade).

As far as Rocket Rods, it wasn't such a bad idea. It was based off of Test Track, but after the Test Track debacle, Disney lost the sponsorship for this technology. They they kept the People Mover during the 98 conversion, they would've had to replace the People Mover cars anyhow, there's just no denying how dated they looked. A new attraction meant new people and more "oomph". Good thinking, but poor execution due to budget cuts and lack of a sponsor.

I completely agree with you, none of these replacements are not terrible (except for HISTA). FNSV for example is not a replacement just a retheme and the reason why there isn't any mermaids is because there is no mermaids in Finding Nemo so thats why they are not but the still kept a homage to them. Also Innoventions isn't a waist either. Disney just opened the Dream home and you guy still bash on it even though they brought back the house of the future in a more innovative way and they promised they will constantly update it so all of you guys quit bashing on a attraction and deal with it.
