Year of a Million Dreams - The Non Winners thread

So I am not sure how many times I went during the promotion....I do know I went at least 4 times at gate opening and stayed the whole day..........and I (and my party) won nothing. Only one time in the distance did I see the Prize Team.

Boo Hoo. But it is nice to stop fantasizing that I am going to win the Dream Suite!

I'm not the only non-winner, am I? (I refuse to use the "L" word, no one loses at the Happiest Place!)

I have won plenty of prizes, and expect to win a few more, as I have been entering by mail, Wednesday was the last postcards I sent off (Expected delivery of prizes for December's prizes for mail-in winners - March 2009).

Just Dream Ears and Pin Lanyards (mostly Dream Ears), but maybe I will get lucky in the last few months....

Also won quite a few things in the park, including a free PhotoPass photo, special After Hour Party passes, Dream Fastpasses, Dream Ears and Pin Lanyards.

But it will be nice that when I go to the park on my BD in February, I am a guaranteed winner of a Birthday Fun Card for merchandise of my choosing.

I didn't win anything either. Probably didn't help that I usually went to the Parks later in the day.. Oh well. Like I needed a Dream Hat to toss in the corner....

I won't say whether or not I won something because gloating is not nice, but I will say I saw a lot of winners who looked handicapped in some way. I'm not saying necessarily I think that the Dream Team took pity on those people (although at the time I was cranky and thought that might be the case), but I think it was that those people tended to take their time doing anything.

For instance, I saw them give away Dream Fastpasses to a family sitting on a bench in DCA, and then I saw them give away Ears to people coming off the Monorail going into Downtown Disney. I would consider both activities to be leisurely; it's like they targeted people who were taking a break in some way.

That's just how it seemed to me, though. I could be wrong.

The key was getting to the parks early. Almost every time I won something it was before noon and usually within an hour or 2 of the parks opening. But now it's over. Onward and upward. Maybe they will sell surplus YOAMD stuff at the DCW.
    I love Disneyland!!!!

I've only gone like twice during it's run.
Blah, pretty sad but I don't mind not winning.

However, my older sister is a AP and has been there numerous times, won nothing. Oh well.
