Another billion and they'll have themselves a theme park.

While DCA will improve, money doesn't buy creativity, and I question if they would spend that money on anything other than a sure thing like Carsland. A whole land dedicated to Pixar. I never thought I'd see the day.

Epcot, Disneyland, and the Magic Kingdom continue to go without long-term reinvestment. Last new Disneyland E-Ticket: Indiana Jones, 1995. The sleeping Beauty Walkthrough was about the only thing they did right in the last couple of years. It was a pittance, however.

I personally can't wait to see the USA section. It was a highlight of the Disneyland Paris one when I rode it and I am glad to have it - or a variation of it - closer to home.

I've been on it several times. No riots have ensued during that scene so far.

Wasn't Spokker's point that "small world" was to encounter different cultures that you might not normally experience? So it makes more sense for America to be in Paris' version?

And why is it completely acceptable to be "very happy" about changes you haven't seen yet, but when somebody speaks negatively about it - they get ridiculed with, "Well, you haven't been on it yet, so how could you possibly know?"

OK, by that logic...is there no France in the Paris version of 'it's a small world?'

There is, actually. There's also an Eiffel Tower in the exit area, apart of the France Telecom promo area (the ride's sponsor). So it might be a little more politically connected, that France's telecommunications company wanted France to be included? Just a though.

And there's a Japan in the Tokyo version, a whole bunch of additional Asian countries in the HKDL version that don't even appear elsewhere, etc., etc. That whole argument about "exposure to other cultures" doesn't even make sense when you apply it to the international versions of the attraction.
