    Annual Passports

The only time we owned Annual Passes we upgraded our 5 day flex to a Deluxe Annual pass. We actually spent 4 days in the parks then on our last morning we upgraded. This time when we go we want to just purchase the Annual pass first and use it. Can someone recommend the easiest way to do this? We allowed our other passed to expire, so a renewal is not an option.

Actually, the best option is to purchase the Passport Plus ticket, that comes with Unlimited FastPass and a free Breakfast voucher. Then on your last day, upgrade to a Deluxe AP. Even this could be better planned, where you get one Premium AP, so you can take advantage of the free parking, and merchandise discounts, while the rest of the family gets Deluxe AP's.

But if you just want to get an AP, just go to any of the Main Entry Plaza windows, and purchase them. They will give you a "voucher" that looks just like any other passport/ticket. Use this to enter Disneyland, then head to the hub, and go to the Plaza Pavilion Center, next to the entrance of Adventureland. You will turn in your voucher, where they will take your picture, and print out your AP while you wait.

The "Passport Plus" ticket sounds like it may be a great way to go. But when I went to the Disenyland web site I couldn't find any information as to what it includes (park hopping, number of days) or the price. Do you know where I would go to find this stuff?

    Re: Annual Passports

I'm sure Darkbeer or others will elaborate further... But the Passport Plus option is not bought online at disney.com nor is it available at the Main Entrance.

You either can get it through disney travel or through AAA (the AAA version I believe includes parking. for more details, see the disneyland section of www.mousesavers.com

    Good Luck!

Book a package through Walt Disney Travel. They have this available there.. 714-520-5050

    Re: Annual Passports

The Passport Plus can be bought without air or hotel. It is technically a "package", and is listed on the bottom of page 18 of the Disneyland brouchure.

    http://www.mousesavers.com/dltickets.html#passportplus

The 2003 Passport Plus pass is an enhanced Park Hopper pass with extra features you'd normally get with a package -- but you don't have to buy a hotel room to get the Passport Plus pass! The pass includes the following special features:

2 extra days FREE added to your Park Hopper
collect FASTPASS tickets for multiple attractions at one time
FREE ESPN Zone Arena Game Card ($10 value)
Breakfast in the Park (one per person, at Club Buzz or Pacific Wharf, $8.75 value)

Prices for Passport Plus passes are only a few dollars more than the regular Park Hopper passes:
    "3-Day" Passport Plus pass (actually valid for 5 days) $122.75 adults/juniors (10 and up), $99.75 children (3-9)
    "4-Day" Passport Plus pass (actually valid for 6 days) $151.75 adults/juniors (10 and up), $122.75 children (3-9)
    "5-Day" Passport Plus pass (actually valid for 7 days) $176.75 adults/juniors (10 and up), $142.75 children (3-9)
    "6-Day" Passport Plus pass (actually valid for 8 days) $198.75 adults/juniors (10 and up), $159.75 children (3-9)
So this costs an extra $3.75 over the special 5 day for the price of 3 regular ticket ($119), plus you do have to pay the $13 per ORDER shipping fee. But between the breakfast voucher, and the "Unlimited FastPass" it more than pays for the extra few bucks.

If you want to get a Deluxe AP, make sure and only get a 3 or 4 day AP (actually 5 or 6 days), since they only UPGRADE, and you need to buy a ticket worth $165 or less.

The MouseSavers link does have more info. The difference between getting the Passport Plus through AAA, instead of Walt Disney Travel is the fact that the AAA version comes with free parking at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure during your visit.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
