New DCA info..

Hey everybody, I just started working at Disney a few weeks ago and am currently training at Disneyland (although only a few hours a week, grrr) before moving over to DCA when it opens.

Anyway, I took one of the site tours of DCA this afternoon and am back with a little bit of information that I hadn't heard mentioned before.

First of all, it's much bigger than I expected it to be on the inside. My favorite thing right now is the facade painted on the face of the Hyperion Theater, although it kind of bothered my eyes.

Anyway, we were told that behind a gray wall there would be more expansion to the park due in 2003, including a ride that right now is called "Armageddon".. I don't know if it has anything to do with the movie or not.

The other interesting tidbit is that in February, Mr. Philbin's "Live With Regis" is currently scheduled to tape a week's worth of shows at DCA.. I think it's taking place at a stage on Paradise Pier..

Anyway, that's my info for now..

Hey thanks for the news, do you know where they are gonna add the new rides?do you think they will add on to wear the timon parking olt is? also do you know what kind of rides they are gonna add????like a ride like indyana jones or like a rollar coaster???????thanks again for the good info.
