    You are joking... right?

Those parks would KILL to have DLRs attendance and guest spending.

If you want unthemed thrills, go to Magic Mountain or Knotts.... You can get in for half the price, and won't have to deal with Disney's crowds.

OK, so you can't handle the truth. This is why DLR goes downhill continually. No matter how far it falls behind the competition, the folks who wear rose-colored Mickey Mouse glasses keep shelling out $$$ for less and less.

Note that on another Disney board, there is a poster who is desperately trying to get people to vote for Disneyland rides in a contest held on yet another site. No arguments about the quality (actually, lack thereof at Disney parks) of any particular ride. Noooo, you just have to vote for Disneyland rides, because, er, well, uh, because, they are rides at Disneyland.

So i take it you are not kidding now?

some ppl prefer theming over thrills with no theming. it is pretty simple. i don't like any of the rides you listed at the top of the page for that reason.

I've been on X and Tatsu, as well as every other coaster at SFMM and about 6 other Six Flags parks. They are great rides. I love Six Flags.... for the occasional unthemed thrill, if I can go for half the price of DL.

But, for me, those rides are not NEARLY as repeatable as DLR's E-tickets.

However, if you like them, I'm sure those parks will be HAPPY to take your money.

I'm just glad Disney has higher standards and doesn't do things like raft-ride-themed-raft-ride, coaster-themed-coasters, stock S&S Power tower, swings, mundane themes, and other Six Flags style... oh... never mind.

I like Six Flags. They have some great coasters.

But DLR is way better. Not only is it that families can go on the rides together (which is what Walt wanted) but there is theming to mostly every ride. And there rides aren't the typical rides. They are technologically advanced.

Six Flags doesn't have one thing that Disneyland does. That's Charm. I'm a roller coaster freak. I love SFMM and didn't get tired of it while my friends were. But then eventually I was riding the rides and getting bored. Thrills can only go so far. Charm goes even further for me. This is why I keep renewing my APs at DLR and visit SFMM occasionally.

We don't agree on much, but this is certainly one of them.
