And their old trumpet player Aaron Bertram is going to be performing with them for all their Disney shows this summer (I've also heard they're playing the Fourth of July)!

And they announced their upcoming all-ska album!

Damn....as if my Friday night couldn't get any busier. Now it'll look like this:

    7pm - Suburban Legends
7:45pm - Get a decent spot for DEP
    8:45pm - DEP
9:20pm - Run like I'm being chased by a herd of swine over to DL
    9:25pm - Magical
9:45pm - Jump on the train and book it to NoS
    10:30pm - Fantasmic!
    11pm - Suburban Legends

Holy crap that's a full schedule. Should be fun!

If anybody wants to make a meet out of it, I shall be entitling it the "Take No Prisoners, Run Like You're Out of Your Mind, and Hope You Get a Spot" Meet.

I'll just be sticking around at Tomorrowland Terrace and probably go on a ride or two with friends during Magical (to be honest, I'm not really fascinated by fireworks after seeing Remember so many times), and then I'll check out DEP that Sunday, since SL isn't playing that day.

Wow. It's much nicer than the rest of the parade.

I'm telling you all this DEP stuff is useless. Scrap the clunker and build and all new parade that isn't flat out embarrassing.

The only problem is some people (like me) love the parade.

I'm hoping that this is the beginning of float replacement and enhancements for DEP

Everyone loves the parade. That's not the issue.

The issue is that the parade is gettin' on 40 years old and now has a brand spanking new float that, without much technological embellishment, is all ready heads and shoulders above all the other aging floats. It's just bad show.

I don't think you'd hear many objections to a Dreamlights rebuild - those floats capture the essence of the original show while upgrading it to today's incredible technological standards. It's embarrassing that the parade still plays as is. The new float is a step in the right direction, but it's just a step. The whole parade needs to be rebuilt or canned in favor of a new show.
