Correction to make....
The soundtrack for Disney's Electrical Parade won't be Tokyo's version after all. When I first heard about it, I took "reworking" to mean a new version, but that actually isn't the case. They took the original tracks and completely restored them and digitzed them (similar to the process done to the original "it's a small world" soundtrack a few years back). The end process is much, much improved over the old version, and overall it sounds much richer & cleaner than it ever has.
Also, to my knowledge the Dumbo unit is not leaving the parade. It's still backstage and appears to be getting work done to it.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

"Magical"
Great to read Eden Espinoza will be doing the singing for the fireworks show. She was a great Elphaba when Wicked played at the Pantages.
Also looking forward to the new fireworks show. The "Dreams" fireworks show is good but it's time for something new. Do you think there will be another new show in 2010 to celebrate DL's 55th anniversary?

I am just curious to see how long this firework show will play for. This nightastic is being scheduled for the summer so what will happen in the fall?
Will Disneyland finally get there Halloween show or will they not show fireworks till the Christmas season?
Also anyone think that they might be able to use parts of the WOC new equipment to have a small show for Halloween and/or New Years eve this year? The bay is suppose to be refilled by September and the viewing area is also suppose to be done by this fall

The Summer Nightastic stuff sounds amazing. I agree with keeping the park open until at least 1. DCA until 11. The personalization thing is ridiculous considering the lines to get tickets takes FOREVER already. Adding the whole survey thing will double or even triple the entire wait considering people with hearing problems or thick accents, plus getting the information for everybody in the entire family. Perhaps just do it like so with ET at Universal and give people a card in the queue. But even then, there's a hiring of more CM issues. Plus I can't wait for the UP Pre Show before the Pixar Parade and the Mickey Fun Wheel which I believe both start May 8th!

Chances are they will just keep showing the Magical fireworks show on weekends through the fall until the Holiday show begins. Although we can always hope they will finally have a Halloween show..
I would doubt on them using any of the WOC equipment at all this year. The viewing area is not schedule to be complete until December, last I heard. The bay is supposed to be filled up in September, but I doubt they will want to use any of the equipment for the show for anything else until the show debuts, even if it is close to being done by New Year's. I expect they will do something like this past New Year's and just have some dance areas with some low-level pyro. Hopefully minus the fog this year..
