Not to the open public. But there are some places you can somewhat get wifi from inside the parks. If you are close enough to the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort you can pick up their wifi, but I am not sure if it is open to the general public and for hotel guests only. Same can be said for the hotels along Harbor Blvd.

Unfortunately, as of now Disney does not broadcast wifi for park guests.

A solution would be wireless 3G by the major wireless carriers that supply either EVDO or HSDPA technologies.

Well if I lived in CA, I'd go hang out at the park for an afternoon with a laptop to do homework, and with wi-fi you could research things. Or you could update photo pictorials, etc, while still at the park. Just sit down for lunch with your camera, upload your photos and post them. You could "live blog" special events (for those unfamiliar with the term, it's literally where you write about something and update as it's still happening), or edit a webcast you just filmed while at Coke Corner rather than indoors at your house, etc.

    Just a few ideas.

WiFi could come in very useful. How else could you Twitter in Disneyland?

Plus, with iTouches or iPhones, you mihgt need WiFi for weather or other things, maybe even Disneyland Guide Apps. Overall, I think if Disney did WiFi in the parks, it would be a very useful thing.

I've connected to the Grand Californian Hotel's WiFi a few times while in California Adventure through my iPhone. Just had to register through a site and I was on.

I have been thinking that the parks should offer wifi for AP holders, resort guests, and CMs in the park. That way people could bring iPod Touches and use the wifi on their phones for certain applications as well as update stuff easier.

At Busch Gardens Tampa they have public wifi at one of the restaurants in the park as an experiment, and it is working quite well.

A potential problem with WiFi is if there is a long line for, say, space mountain and someone blogs about it or makes it very well known, that may deter people from coming to the parks because they could just come back another day when lines arent so long

Same. I'm not 1) lugging around a computer and 2) sitting down to play with it. Got too much else to do!
