DCA Performance Corridor Paving

Just got word (thank you birdies!) that from November 19 through December 17 there is a scheduled paving going on near Golden Dreams. It sounds like the walkway from Grizzly Peak to Paradise Pier will be slightly rerouted around the area through the Pacific Wharf while the new pavement is laid.

Yes it was going on! I was wondering what was up. We had to detour through the Wharf to get to the pier.

The traffic flow has changed but they didn't change the setup of the tables to allow of the extra people walking through so people were cutting the corner and walking through the table areas, I dunno just seemed odd, probably not comfortable if you're ating there and people cutting across to get through the area faster.

Yes, it is in the details that tells the whole story.

Interesting to note, the Refurb Walls are "way back there" due to safety/Fire Marshall reasons. Disney would have preferred to place the walls where the sign is in post #2, but had to allow access to the backstage area of Bathroom Row, and a secondary exit to Wine Country Trattoria restaurant.

So that is the reason you see the "partial" blocking of the Performance Corridor next to the main entrance of the WCT.

It looks better at least with the walls way back there. It's already so closed in up there around the walkways, nice to still have a bit of an open area even if it is closed. They are only doing work up near the new Hub anyway.
